Returns & FAQ
We want to make sure you love your painting, and quality is guaranteed. If your original artwork arrives damaged or with a visible shipping issue, we'll work with you to make it right — whether that's a replacement, repair, or refund depending on the situation.
For any damage or quality issues, please provide clear photos of the painting and packaging on a flat, well-lit surface, along with your order number, and email us at artamaliayosefa@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. This helps us provide a speedy resolution.
Because each painting is an original, one of a kind work of art, all sales are final. We do not accept general returns or change-of-mind returns.

Caring for Your Watercolor Painting
Watercolor paintings are sensitive to light, moisture, and heat. To keep your painting looking its best for years to come:
- Keep out of direct sunlight or UV light which can cause fading over time
- Avoid hanging in humid areas such as bathrooms or near kitchen steam
- Store flat or upright in a dry location if not yet framed
- Never touch the painted surface with bare hands
- If matted, keep the mat in place until framing as it protects the painting surface
Framing Your Painting
All paintings ship unframed unless otherwise noted, giving you the freedom to choose a frame that suits your space and style.
For framing I always recommend using UV-protective glass or acrylic to preserve the painting's colors over time. Make sure the mat or spacer keeps the glass from touching the painting surface directly.
Budget-friendly framing options: Craft stores like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and AC Moore carry a great selection of premade frames and almost always have sales running — 40-50% off is common. Standard sizes like 11x14 and 16x20 are easy to find off the shelf. Sign up for their email list for coupons before you shop.
For a more elevated presentation: A local frame shop will cut a custom mat and frame to your exact painting size, choose archival materials, and handle the whole thing professionally. This is worth it for a statement piece or a gift. Ask specifically for acid-free matting and UV glass when you go in.
If you're unsure which direction to go, feel free to reach out at artamaliayosefa@gmail.com — I'm happy to make a recommendation based on your painting size and style.
